SUST Student Stabbed to Death on Campus

A student was stabbed to death on a hill inside the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) campus this evening (July 25).

Bulbul Ahmed was taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital with critical injuries where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased was a third-year honor's student at the university's Public Administration department, reports our Sylhet correspondent reports quoting SUST Proctor Prof Ishrat Ibne Ismail.

"We are trying to find out why Bulbul went to the Gazi Kalur Hill on the campus and whether anyone was with him at the time," Officer-in-Charge of Jalalabad Police Station Nazmul Huda Khan told the media.

"We are working to find out who stabbed him," said the OC.
